Hello Everyone!

 

My name is Andrea Combs. I am a proud Alumni of Rice High School! My college journey began at Wharton County Jr. College and ended at Texas State University, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. I began my career in Education in 2001 teaching Special Education &, Physical Education for 21 years in the Rice School District. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the relationships that I developed over my years in Sped. & P.E. that I decided to begin my journey in School Counseling. In 2015, I received my Master’s in School Counseling through Lamar University. I am beyond excited to begin my role as School Counselor with Rice Junior High School. My goal is to provided support and resources for all students to have an equal opportunity to succeed! I believe all students are capable of great things and I look forward to developing relationships with students to help them find the passion that promotes their drive for success!
