Summer Feeding Program

Rice CISD is hosting a Summer Feeding Program. This program will operate June 1st - 30th. Meals will be provided for all children, ages 0-18. Meals can be picked up at Eagle Lake Intermediate School from 11 am - 1 pm on the following dates: June 1, June 2, June 7, June 9, June 14, June 16, June 21, June 23, June 28 and June 30. Multiple days of meals will be given on each pick up day. CHILDREN MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE MEALS.

Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer

Rice CISD students are eligible to apply for the Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT). The application for P-EBT will open June 2, 2021. Go to yourtexasbenefits.com/Learn/PEBT to apply. The application link is case-sensitive. The deadline to apply is Aug. 13, 2021. For more information about eligibility, applying and getting your P-EBT benefits, visit hhs.texas.gov/pebt, or call the P-EBT Call Center at 833-442-1255, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Central time.

Although Governor Abbott has modified the COVID restrictions in Texas, Rice CISD will continue to operate under our COVID safety plan until further notice. Our primary commitment is to ensure and maintain safety for our students and staff members. We will continue to monitor and evaluate protocols as guidance becomes available from TEA and the CDC.
